Owner/President
Joseph Robins is the Owner/Founder and President of J. Robins CPA. In this role Mr. Robins assists business owners, high income, and high net worth individuals in effectively accumulating, managing, and transferring wealth. His team implements complex tax strategies to mitigate client’s overall tax liability, provide investment account management during uncertain economic environments, and offer proper guidance when working with legal teams to structure wills and trusts. His primary industries of concentration include health care professional, legal professionals, financial service professionals, highly compensated employees, and retirees. Mr. Robins aids these industries by providing tax planning and preparation, business development, and retirement planning advice.
Mr. Robins graduated Chief Marshall of the College of Business from Southern University and A&M College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in finance. A few of his affiliations include currently serving as the Treasurer for the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and the Treasurer for the Lambda Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He is a member of the Southern University College of Business Advisory Council, a 2023 inductee of the AICPA Leadership Academy Cohort, and a 2025 inductee of the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership's Leadership Baton Rouge Program.
In conjunction with his career achievements, he is a loving husband, a proud father of 2, and has also completed 6 full marathons, including the New York City Marathon. Mr. Robins has received numerous awards and recognition for his entrepreneurial achievements and his efforts in providing financial literacy and business services to the community
